When signing the letter "g" in American Sign Language (ASL), you would extend your dominant hand with all fingers pointing out and touching each other. The thumb should be extended and tucked into the palm of the hand. The hand should be held in front of you with the back of the hand facing the person you are communicating with. This sign is used when fingerspelling words that contain the letter "g," such as "good" or "great."
